Women for the BoardDeveloped by women for women, this innovative programme is designed for those planning to apply for board-level positions.

Led by consultant and academic Dr Ruth Sacks, Women for the Board provides a unique insight into the skills, knowledge and competences required of a successful board member and helps participants maximise their chances of gaining executive or non-executive positions. The programme has attracted considerable media interest, with coverage in The Sunday Times, The Guardian, the Financial Times and HR Magazine, establishing Dr Sacks as a leading expert on the subject of women’s board membership.

The next round of the programme is scheduled to run in September 2014 and as a University of Westminster alumnus you are entitled to a 10% discount.
The programme features one day a month of intensive, on-site learning over six months of on-going support and includes contributions by a range of highly-successful CEOs, coaches, facilitators and academics  all of whom have board-level experience and who, between them, have worked at senior levels across public, private and charitable sectors.
